After long consideration, Colin thinks that expanding the Bastion itself would be the best use of core. More room to grow would offer them a lot of breathing room in the future.

He also assumes that the core would be able to hold it all together for a while.

If the calculations for that don't pan out, he'd honestly recommend preserving the core strictly for power purposes. XD
