ALRIGHTY, SO. I have...done this several times in my journal-RP career thus far but I still feel nervous as heck every time. Less so this time, but there's always the hope that I'm doing it right...

So, introductions! I am Sol, and I'm bringin' in this lady here. OVA continuity is her basis, but I slipped in a few extra things and I'll likely be playing her somewhat differently from the common portrayal. (Her app's got the big meat but basically - don't expect a hero, very much a loose cannon, etc.)

Jeni and Leia are basically how I got here - mainly because that one fateful Plurk talking about the last app cycle pushed me to jump in. And this is really only the second formal journal game I've ever been a part of; it's been gameboxes and memes all the rest of the time, and I'd not even gotten that involved in the first game before leaving it, so... I might have to get used to things and I might misstep. Hopefully I won't break anything. :'D

(Slipping in just under the wire, too; Shooter's supposed to be here on day 307 and if I read the calendar right this's the last RL day for it. After posting this it'll be on to the IC post, and I'm considerably more nervous about that.)

With all that said, I look forward to many good times here. :)

Hey there, Bastion! I'm Remaix, a complete newbie to this game.

I'm bringing in Byakuya Togami from Dangan Ronpa, a.k.a. that one weird game where a sadistic bear tells a bunch of high school students to go kill each other. And thus the halls of said school are stained with pink blood forever because seriously guys can we please stop killing each other for one chapter guys come on. It's one giant lesson in why we can't have nice things.

All you need to know about Togami is that he's a rich, prideful, elitist asshole with a very punchable face. Seriously, this guy's not gonna have a lot of friends, he can't go a single conversation without insulting someone. He's coming in from the very end of the first game, meaning there will be major spoilers. So if you don't want those, just let me know.

Hello, Bastion! My name is Lysoke and I'm bringing in this little guy from Digimon's third season: Tamers. Impmon isn't very tall, he probably doesn't come up higher than your knee, but he's loud and fluctuates from 'occasionally obnoxious' to 'always obnoxious,' depending on his mood. He's prideful and a little arrogant, but not as bad as he used to be before his heel-face turn.

Impmon is coming not only from after the series, but after it's subsequent movie, so he's a good guy who fights the good fight and protects people, but he'll turn right around and insult and be a jerk to those same people if he feels like it; he's your typical anti-hero.

Now, he doesn't look like much When he's Impmon, but when he digivolves, he skips straight to Mega level (because he's a special snowflake who ignores the rules) and turns into Beelzemon who is exactly the same as Impmon except +100 confidence and if you call him Impmon, he'll get offended.

I'm Ashka and I'm brand new here. I'm bringing you Libertà from Arcana Famiglia. Arcana Famiglia is an otome game about magical mafia, but Libertà himself seems more like a shonen protagonist. xD He's reckless, not exactly the smartest, but he's also friendly, optimistic and he wishes to become a hero. Oh, and he loves the sea and is the contractor of the Fool Arcana. He doesn't use his powers though, because I took him from the beginning of the game.

Hi, this is Samm, bringing a guy character for the first time to Bastion!

This is Moon, the main character from the Books of the Raksura. He's a wary paranoid ass, who still isn't used to having a family / people he can live with for more than a year or so... Which I guess is good because oops Bastion. As for the shapeshifter part, Moon either looks like a human-ish male (which, he will have no idea what a human is, just because his canon is that sort of fantasy), or a large-ish black-scaled dragon-y person (called a Raksura). He's only large-ish because while he has a large max wingspan, ??? the body size because. fantasy.

For those with the senses, he definitely seems ~predator~. Most animals don't particularly care for Raksura.

Anyway, Moon is too paranoid to actually just walk into the Bastion on his own. I'll put up a log for him being paranoid and watching from the skyway nearby, so while he technically arrived on 258, he was probably hiding until 259. Which is the post-date.

... Ahem. It's Matt, with his fourth character here - Yosuke Otoha from Karas!

What's that? ... You never heard of Karas before? ... That's okay, most people haven't. It's a confusing mess of a six-episode OVA but it's really pretty and has a few really good characters and a really excellent dub cast. Otoha here doesn't have many lines - he's more the strong and silent type.

Also, he was raised in the Yakuza. And can't feel pain. Those are definite things about him.

For those of you who were in Vatheon, he was there too! Just... that this is a reset version of him which means he's back to being pretty rude and not talking about things. And getting into dumb fights where he'll get injured.

For those characters who can sense souls, his isn't in his body - it's in the amulet he carries with him.

Hi everybody! I'm Kae and I am the freshest of meat. Nice to meet ya! Except those of you I have already met, in which case nice to see ya! So hey, you know what the Bastion needs? MORE TROLLS.

I give you The Emissary, real name Aradia Megido. She's from an AU that exists in the OU and it's kind of a grey area but BASICALLY - this is the Aradia from Beforus, aka. Alternia before it got rebooted and went directly to shit. Fast facts in convenient list form:

Retired time traveler.
Raised by the Midnight Crew (ie. the carapace mafia).
Not nearly as stab-happy as the Midnight Crew.
Short hair, huge horns. this will be better reflected in her icons as I finish drawing them.
Older than she looks, by like... a lot.
Relentlessly friendly.

That's riiiiight, it's your resident birdmod! Because I love this game very much (quiet as I've been lately ssh), I've brought in a fourth character! Meet the Helmsman from the webcomic Homestuck. His life is... Um. It's a thing. Enough of a thing that he's going to be pretty sure he's hallucinating Bastion and everyone in it because that's really the only thing that makes sense to him.

For numerous reasons (body horror and mental issues being one of the top things), Psii has a permissions post if there's anything you aren't cool with so please let me know! I'll be sure to check with people ahead of time if I think anything dark is going to come up in a tag, but anyone filling out permissions would help me out a lot.

I'm Tri, and was here previously with other characters. This time I'm bringing in Erek King from the YA book series Animorphs. He projects a hologram of a normal human boy, but he's actually an android who's been on Earth since shortly before the pyramids were built and living a variety of human lifetimes, feigning aging over and over. Erek is a pacifist and loves dogs. If the Bastion isn't inundated in canines soon, it won't be for lack of trying.

I'm a completely new player that was recently enabled to app here and just got accepted. I'm Fennel, nice to meet you!

I'm bringing Maya Schroedinger here, a character from the rather obscure PS2 game 'Wild Arms 3'. She's essentially a tough adventurer and treasure hunter on the outside, with a novel nerd on the inside. She also has the wacky ability to turn into her fictional heroines, an ability she likes so much that she's pretty much never seen with her real appearance.
She'll be busy trying to get ALL THE GEMS and will likely attempt to find the biggest shard possible during her stay in the game. If that leads to rivalry with others, the better!

She arrives on day 243 (or rather arrived?) and is trying her best to pretend she doesn't care in the slightest that her world is gone.

I bring to you Ibuki Mioda from Dangan Ronpa 2. She's a fun and outgoing spaz who happens to be a Super High School Level Light Music Club Member. Wow, that's a mouthful... if you go by the official English translation, she's just the Ultimate Musician.

Howdy everyone! Some of you may remember me, my name is Lassie and I played here awhile back! Last time I was here I played an AU of this character, Night, and now I'm back with original recipe Night.

Some things to note for anyone new! Night is from the same world as Ao no Exorcist but he's from an off-shot one chapter series titled "The Miyama-Uguisu Mansion Incident". He's also described as Rin (Ao no Exorcist's main protag) prototype so they look similar.

Also Night is completely demon but a good kind. He has a very good sense of smell and he has red eyes and a tail he hides away all the time.

I am bringing in The Disciple from Homestuck. She's a cat troll Mary Magdalene/John the Baptist expy with a few panels worth of screentime and a tragic backstory. Chances are that she'll be slow to make friends but I have every faith she'll bounce back! As for what she's like, well, she's a huntress pacifist who's a little dillusioned with her life goals and will be willing to trade her skills for books and information.

She's obviously capable of getting herself off the Skyway but I really would like someone to come and get her. Mostly so she doesn't spend two or three days playing the hermit wild thing on the outskirts of Bastion, staring at people through bushes while she figures out these aliens can't possibly known she's a fugitive.
